After completing my Dipoma in Electronics at Govt. Polytechnic Periye, Kasaragod, I joined Penisular Polymers Limited (aka: Penpol)at trivandrum in 1998. My first posting was in QA. Heyyy ... then I was a kid !! There I started my carreer as Quality Engineer !
Our compony is dealing with blood bags and blood bank equipments. Obviously I was in equipment division. It has a nick name MSG (Medical Systems Group) We are around forty people working here.
After a short while I joined, the company went into a financial crisis !! Oopps not due to me !! Then the company got partnership from TERUMO Corporation Japan. With the joint venture we at Penpol transformed to an MNC; TERUMO PENPOL Limited. Now we are having a handfull of order for exporting to European countries.
We have developed more than 32 types of equipment in 7 categories. Most of the equipments till 2005 was went through my hand !!
In Jan 2006 I got transfered to Development Wing. My first assignment was a Temperature controller for Deep Freezer. It freezes the blood plasma to -80deg C. The equipment was officialy launched on August.
